Does ACOD work with Shipway?
Updated · ACOD (E-TRADE PARTNER)
Yes, cleanly. Shipway is a post-order logistics aggregation platform: it imports placed orders, assigns couriers with its allocation engine, and pushes fulfillment status back to Shopify. Its COD features (WhatsApp order confirmation, address verification, COD-to-prepaid prompts, early remittance) all act on placed orders, which makes it a natural downstream companion to ACOD rather than an overlap.
4.9 · ACOD does this for you: COD fees plus location, order-value, product, and customer rules.
Try it freeHow Shipway works
After install and KYC, Shipway imports orders automatically and manages couriers in its own panel. Its listing sits in Shopify's shipping-rates category, but that refers to Shipway's internal rate engine for choosing couriers, not to injecting rates into your checkout; its documented setup flow contains no checkout integration. Your Shopify checkout rates, including ACOD's COD fee rate, are not modified.
Quick context on ACOD's side: ACOD works entirely inside the native Shopify checkout through Shopify Functions (payment and delivery customizations). It adds the COD fee as a dedicated shipping rate, links the Cash on Delivery payment method to that rate, and hides or shows COD based on your rules. It adds no theme code and no scripts, so anything that happens before checkout (on your storefront) or after checkout (on placed orders) is outside ACOD's layer and cannot collide with it.
Why this is a complementary stack
- ACOD gates the checkout: fee applied, risky regions and carts pushed to prepaid.
- Shipway verifies what got through (WhatsApp confirmation, address checks) before dispatch.
- Shipway's pincode-serviceability widget (a separate small app) lives on the product page, so even that coexists with ACOD.
Independence note
Shipway is built by Shipway (Unicommerce) and has no affiliation with ACOD or E-TRADE PARTNER. App names belong to their owners. This page describes how the two apps behave side by side, based on Shipway (Unicommerce)'s public documentation and Shopify's platform documentation, verified on July 5, 2026. If you spot something outdated, email support@etradepartner.io and we will fix it.
Add a COD fee without touching your other apps
ACOD runs on native Shopify Functions inside checkout: no theme code, no scripts, nothing that collides with the rest of your stack.

Frequently asked questions
›Shipway's listing mentions shipping rates. Does it change my checkout rates?
No. The rate features refer to Shipway's internal courier-selection engine. Your checkout continues to show the Shopify rates you configured, including ACOD's COD rate.
›Do Shipway's COD-to-prepaid prompts conflict with ACOD?
No. They act on placed orders. The ACOD fee already in the order total stays; refunding it on converted orders is an optional manual choice.
