Does ACOD work with GemPages Landing Page Builder?
Updated · ACOD (E-TRADE PARTNER)
Yes. GemPages page building is fully compatible: pages live in the theme and buy buttons feed the native checkout where ACOD runs. One platform note if you use GemPages Sales Funnels: Shopify never displays one-click post-purchase offers on orders paid with manual methods like Cash on Delivery. That is Shopify's rule for every store and every app, not an ACOD conflict.
4.9 · ACOD does this for you: COD fees plus location, order-value, product, and customer rules.

How GemPages works
GemPages is a storefront page builder. Its newer Sales Funnels feature adds post-purchase upsell offers built on Shopify's official post-purchase extension, which runs after payment rather than by modifying checkout.
Quick context on ACOD's side: ACOD works entirely inside the native Shopify checkout through Shopify Functions (payment and delivery customizations). It adds the COD fee as a dedicated shipping rate, links the Cash on Delivery payment method to that rate, and hides or shows COD based on your rules. It adds no theme code and no scripts, so anything that happens before checkout (on your storefront) or after checkout (on placed orders) is outside ACOD's layer and cannot collide with it.
The post-purchase-on-COD platform limitation
Shopify's developer documentation states the post-purchase page is not surfaced when the initial purchase was made with any payment method other than a credit card. Cash on Delivery is a manual payment method, so one-click post-purchase offers never appear on COD orders. GemPages' own help docs list COD among the reasons offers do not show. This applies with or without ACOD installed; ACOD neither causes nor can change it.
What still works for COD funnels
- All GemPages page building, product pages, and landing pages: fully compatible.
- Pre-purchase upsells on GemPages pages flow through the cart into the native checkout, where ACOD's order-value rules see the final total.
- For COD orders, use thank-you-page offers (which work for all payment methods) instead of one-click post-purchase offers.
Independence note
GemPages Landing Page Builder is built by GemCommerce and has no affiliation with ACOD or E-TRADE PARTNER. App names belong to their owners. This page describes how the two apps behave side by side, based on GemCommerce's public documentation and Shopify's platform documentation, verified on July 5, 2026. Add a COD fee without touching your other apps
ACOD runs on native Shopify Functions inside checkout: no theme code, no scripts, nothing that collides with the rest of your stack.

Frequently asked questions
›Is ACOD the reason my GemPages post-purchase offer does not show on COD orders?
No. Shopify itself never shows one-click post-purchase offers on manual payment methods, including COD, on any store. Removing ACOD would not change it.
›Do GemPages buy buttons respect ACOD's COD rules?
Yes. They feed the native cart and checkout, where ACOD's fee and visibility rules execute normally.
