Shogun renders and edits pages within your theme. Purchases from Shogun-built pages go through Shopify's standard cart and checkout. The recurring complaint in Shogun reviews is leftover theme code after uninstall, which is a theme-hygiene matter, not a checkout one.
Quick context on ACOD's side: ACOD works entirely inside the native Shopify checkout through Shopify Functions (payment and delivery customizations). It adds the COD fee as a dedicated shipping rate, links the Cash on Delivery payment method to that rate, and hides or shows COD based on your rules.
