Set a minimum or maximum order value for COD

Updated · ACOD (E-TRADE PARTNER)

Add a minimum order value condition, a maximum, or both in ACOD → Limit Cash on Delivery. Orders outside the range simply don't see the COD option; they can still pay prepaid. Typical setup: COD only between 300 and 5,000 in your store currency.

4.9 · ACOD does this for you: COD fees plus location, order-value, product, and customer rules.

  2. Enter amounts in your store currency.
  3. Optionally stack location, product, or customer-tag conditions.
  4. Verify with testing mode at values inside and outside the range.

For how to pick the numbers (courier caps, refusal data, margin floors) and why stores cap COD at all, see the full guide: Minimum and maximum order value for COD.

Cap COD where refusals hurt

A value cap in ACOD steers your riskiest orders to prepaid and protects margin on the biggest tickets. One condition, live in minutes.

Frequently asked questions

Is the limit checked against the total with or without shipping?

The condition evaluates the cart total at checkout. If your boundary cases matter to the rupee/cent, verify the exact behavior for your setup with a testing-mode checkout at the boundary value.

Can I limit COD by number of items or order weight too?

Yes. ACOD offers cart quantity and total order weight (with automatic unit conversion) as conditions, alongside order value.
