Does ACOD work with Vitals: Reviews, Bundles & 40+?
Updated · ACOD (E-TRADE PARTNER)
Yes, cleanly. Vitals delivers its 40+ tools (reviews, bundles, volume discounts, sticky add to cart, cart drawer, currency converter, pop-ups) through a single theme app embed in the storefront layer. It has no checkout extensions and never touches payment methods or shipping rates, so ACOD's layer is unaffected.
4.9 · ACOD does this for you: COD fees plus location, order-value, product, and customer rules.

How Vitals works
All Vitals widgets load from one external file through a theme app embed. Its discount features (bundles, BOGO, volume discounts) create standard Shopify discounts that apply in the native checkout. It has no Shopify Functions and no checkout surface.
Quick context on ACOD's side: ACOD works entirely inside the native Shopify checkout through Shopify Functions (payment and delivery customizations). It adds the COD fee as a dedicated shipping rate, links the Cash on Delivery payment method to that rate, and hides or shows COD based on your rules. It adds no theme code and no scripts, so anything that happens before checkout (on your storefront) or after checkout (on placed orders) is outside ACOD's layer and cannot collide with it.
Two footnote-level interactions
- Discounts change the total ACOD evaluates. Vitals volume discounts and BOGO deals lower the checkout total; ACOD's order-value rules see the discounted number, which is the correct and expected behavior.
- The currency converter is display-only. Checkout still charges in your store currency, which is also the currency ACOD's rules and fee amounts operate in, so nothing diverges.
Why this pairing is common
COD-heavy dropshipping and one-product stores often run Vitals for storefront conversion and ACOD for COD economics. The stack splits naturally: Vitals works before the checkout, ACOD inside it.
Independence note
Vitals: Reviews, Bundles & 40+ is built by Vitals and has no affiliation with ACOD or E-TRADE PARTNER. App names belong to their owners. This page describes how the two apps behave side by side, based on Vitals's public documentation and Shopify's platform documentation, verified on July 5, 2026. Add a COD fee without touching your other apps
ACOD runs on native Shopify Functions inside checkout: no theme code, no scripts, nothing that collides with the rest of your stack.

Frequently asked questions
›Does the Vitals currency converter affect ACOD's fee amount?
No. The converter only changes displayed prices on the storefront. Checkout charges in the store currency, and ACOD's fee and order-value rules already operate in that currency.
›Do Vitals bundle discounts interfere with COD order-value rules?
They lower the checkout total, and ACOD evaluates that final total. If a discount drops a cart below your COD minimum, COD hides, exactly as your rule specifies.
