How NimbusPost works

After you install and connect the store, NimbusPost fetches orders automatically and you ship from its Shipments section. Courier allocation, labels, tracking, and NDR (non-delivery report) management all live in the NimbusPost panel. Its COD tooling (automated order and address confirmation over WhatsApp, early COD remittance) acts on placed orders and payouts, never at checkout.

Quick context on ACOD's side: ACOD works entirely inside the native Shopify checkout through Shopify Functions (payment and delivery customizations). It adds the COD fee as a dedicated shipping rate, links the Cash on Delivery payment method to that rate, and hides or shows COD based on your rules. It adds no theme code and no scripts, so anything that happens before checkout (on your storefront) or after checkout (on placed orders) is outside ACOD's layer and cannot collide with it.

How the pairing behaves

  • ACOD's COD fee is part of the order total NimbusPost sees, so the courier collects it and remittance includes it.
  • ACOD's pin-code rules cut the fake-order volume before NimbusPost's WhatsApp confirmations ever fire.
  • No settings in either app reference the other; there is nothing to break.
