How to run a test

  1. Turn on testing mode in ACOD.
  2. Open your storefront (an incognito window avoids logged-in customer tags interfering), add products to the cart, and start checkout.
  3. Use test@example.com as the contact email and a real address in the zone you're testing.
  4. Continue to the shipping step (the COD rate should appear with the fee) and then to the payment step (Cash on Delivery should appear only with the linked rate selected).
  5. Repeat with an address or cart that your rules should block, and confirm COD is hidden.
  6. Turn testing mode off to go live.

You don't have to complete the test order. Reaching the payment step is enough to verify what customers will see, because the payment list is computed there.

Verify before customers ever see it

ACOD's testing mode lets you check fees and rules on your live checkout with zero customer impact. Included on every plan, 7-day free trial.

Questions fréquentes

Why does my checkout look unchanged while testing?

Check that the email is exactly test@example.com (no typos, no plus-addressing). While testing mode is on, every other checkout sees the store without your ACOD setup.
